IECS Energy Research Centre researchers participate in the RTUCON conference

On 30 October 2026, IECS Energy Research Centre Electrical System Engineers Roberts Lazdiņš and Antons Hančevskis took part in RTUCON, the 67th International Scientific Conference on Power and Electrical Engineering, organised by Riga Technical University and IEEE.

At the conference, IECS researchers presented two scientific papers. R. Lazdiņš presented the study “Data-Driven Threshold Determination for Multi-Criteria PMU-Based Fault Detection Using Frequency Measurements”, while A. Hančevskis presented the review publication “Selecting PV Penetration Scenarios for Power System Dynamic Stability Studies: A Review”.

Both publications were prepared within the Swiss-Latvian Cooperation Programme project LACISE.
