On October 14, 2025, three professors from National Taiwan University of Science and Technology visited the Institute of Electronics and Computer Science (EDI). The purpose of the visit was to learn about EDI’s research areas and discuss possible areas of future cooperation.
During the meeting, the guests discussed potential opportunities for cooperation in various fields of science and technology, including signal processing, data analytics, and smart systems. The professors showed great interest in EDI’s scientific projects and innovation ecosystem.
The guests also took a tour of the EDI laboratories, where they were introduced to the institute’s infrastructure, research equipment, and the work of its scientists. This visit serves as an important step in strengthening international contacts and establishing further cooperation between Latvia and Taiwan in the field of research and innovation.
