On October 14, 2025, second-year students from the SIVA College computer systems technician program visited the Institute of Electronics and Computer Science. The visit was attended by future specialists who wanted to learn more about the institute’s research environment, technologies, and real-world projects.
During the meeting, students learned about the main areas of activity of EDI and how these areas are applied in international research and innovation projects.
The young people went on a tour of the EDI laboratories, where they learned about:
- Biometric systems;
- Wearable devices;
- Timer and Ultra sound technologies;
- Image processing and artificial intelligence applications;
- Internet of Things technologies;
- Remote sensing technologies;
- Embedded systems;
- Robot and drone systems;
- Self-driving cars.
Participants had the opportunity to ask EDI specialists questions about career opportunities in research, internships, and working with modern technologies.
At the end of the event, students acknowledged that the visit had provided valuable insight into how theoretical knowledge from study programs is applied in practice and inspired them to continue developing in the field of IT and electronics
