A position and orientation measurement system capable of producing up to 120 observations every second with sub-milimeter accuracy. The OptiTrack system consists of 8 infra-red cameras, a set of retro-reflective markers attached to the target object and the OptiTrack Motive 3D software package. The system is capable of tracking rigid bodies and human pose estimation. Its primary applications include ground truth measurement for mobile robot or drone localization system evaluation, sensor calibration and recording data sets for training spatial inference models.
