From April 21–22, lead researcher Dr. sc. comp. Modris Greitāns and researcher Dr. sc. ing. Armands Ancāns attended the final SUSTRONICS project partner meeting in Barcelona. During the event, they presented the project’s sustainable software innovations and a wearable health monitoring sensor system demonstrator developed by the Institute of Electronics and Computer Science (EDI). The institute’s researchers have developed two technology prototypes: a standardized interconnect fabric for wearable sensors and an energy-efficient bioimpedance measurement device featuring sustainable material electrodes.
