Senior researcher at the Robotics and Perception Laboratory Jānis Ārents, head of the Cyber-Physical Systems Laboratory and senior researcher Jānis Judvaitis as well as senior researcher and director Modris Greitāns, participates in the Horizon Europe project EdgeAI final review meeting,
On the first day of the event, J. Ārents and J. Judvaitis gave presentations on the EDI-led value chain VC4 “Mobility,” and on the demonstrators VCD4.1 (Cognitive Mobile Multi-Agent Platform) and VCD4.2 (Roadside Perception Units (RSPU) Connected with a LoRa 2.4 GHz Mesh Network), where the reviewers were introduced to the results achieved in the project and to the various developed edge AI technologies. In the second half of the day, the developed technologies were demonstrated to the reviewers with more detailed discussions about the technical results achieved.
On the second day of the event, J. Ārents and J. Judvaitis presented to the reviewers the planned exploitation activities of the EDI-led demonstrators, and pointed out the tehcnologies developed in the value chain 4 with the most promissing potential for exploitation.
On both days, all EDI delegates were actively involved in discussions with the reviewers, project officer, and partners, presenting the results and answering questions, as well as discussing activities beyond the project.
