On August 21, a working visit took place at the Institute of Electronics and Computer Science (EDI), where the institute hosted Assoc. Prof. Mario R. A. Paternina from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) and Dr. Artjoms Obuševs from the Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW).
During the visit, the international partners toured the EDI laboratories to learn about the institute’s research infrastructure, equipment, and achievements.
At the conclusion of the visit, the guests, together with researchers from the EDI Energy Research Centre, discussed the operation and results of a power system fault detection tool jointly developed in June of this year. Additionally, the parties discussed the progress of two joint scientific publications, which will summarise the methodology and obtained results of the developed tool.
