From 5 to 9 October 2026, Diāna Dupļevska, a researcher at the Institute of Electronics and Computer Science (EDI), visited LACISE (LZP/LV-CH-RESEARCH/PC2) project partners at CSEM in Neuchâtel, Switzerland.
The purpose of the visit was to gain practical experience with technologies and equipment developed by CSEM, including their operating principles, configuration, and potential applications. Particular attention was given to acoustic sensing systems, data acquisition, and their future use in research activities in Latvia.
The practical training and technical discussions were supported by CSEM specialists Giulio Masinelli and Gabriel Caffi. The visit also provided an opportunity to discuss technical adaptations, installation requirements, and long-term operation of the equipment under Latvian conditions.
The knowledge and experience gained during the visit will strengthen further cooperation between EDI and CSEM and support research and technology implementation activities within the LACISE project in Latvia.
