On February 24–26, 2026, employees of the Institute of Electronics and Computer Science (EDI) participated in the international exhibition on flexible and printed electronics “LOPEC 2026”, which took place in Munich, Germany. EDI was represented by electronics technician Klara Kuzņecova and electronics engineer Sandis Kaģis.

In recent years, the importance of printed and flexible electronics has increased, as it enables the development of lighter and more material-efficient devices, as well as the use of more sustainable substrates and production processes. The aim of LOPEC 2026 is to bring together researchers and industry representatives to discuss the latest advances in printed electronics and its role in the context of sustainability, including the choice of materials, reducing the impact of manufacturing, and practical applications.

EDI employees participated in the poster session, presenting results obtained within the framework of the European Union co-funded project Sustronics (101112109):

  • Klara Kuzņecova – “Printed Ti3C2Tx MXene Interfaces for Enhanced Stability in Hydrogel-Based Bioelectronics

Authors: Klara Kuzņecova1, Mykola Pavlenko2, Andrii Lys2, Armands Ancāns1, Modris Greitāns1
