Senior researcher Janis Arents and researcher Oskars Vismanis of the Robotics and Machine Perception laboratory participated in the “Human-inspired Advanced Machine Intelligence for Accelerating European AI Innovation, Cooperation and Industrial Adoption” (HumAMI) project’s kick-off meeting in Eindhoven, the Netherlands. Throughout the event, the project’s implementation was discussed and planned, in which EDI is the lead partner for work package 4 (WP4) and one of the main contributors to technology demonstrator 10 (RTD10). On the first day of the event, J. Arents introduced the rest of the partners to EDI’s responsibilities in the project and presented WP4 activities. The rest of the event consisted of discussions with partners on efficient cooperation during the project’s implementation.
