From March 13th to 16th, 2023, Deputy Director of Development Dr. Kaspars Ozols, Senior Researcher Dr. Roberts Kadiķis and researcher Janis Ārents of the Institute of Electronics and Computer Science (EDI) are participating in the European Robotics Forum (ERF2023) (https://erf2023.sdu.dk/) in Odense, Denmark. The European Robotics Forum is the most influential meeting of the robotics community in Europe covering all aspects and current themes related to the field of robotics. Researchers, engineers, managers, and a growing number of entrepreneurs, businesspeople, and public funding officers from all over Europe come together to discuss technology push and market pull and how innovation in robotics and robotics-related AI can be accelerated.During the event, EDI researchers attend conference sessions, an exhibition and network with other participants. In addition, Dr. K.Ozols represents the DIH2 project (https://dih-squared.eu/) at a special DIH2 booth, where he also gives an interview to the media on the role of robotics in Europe’s development and competitiveness and the role of  DIH2 in it. Dr. R.Kadiķis, representing the IMOCO4.E project (https://www.imoco4e.eu/), and J.Ārents, representing the EdgeAI project, give presentations to participants about their respective projects in the TRINITY project special session “Feasibility of agile manufacturing, what really moves SMEs”, chaired by J.Ārents. In addition, J.Ārents, representing EDI, participates in the TRINITY booth representing EDI and the TRINITY project.
