On October 22, 2025, Sergejs Umnovs, an electronics engineer at the Institute of Electronics and Computer Science, presented a poster of his master’s thesis at the exhibition of the best master’s theses at the Faculty of Computer Science, Information Technology and Energy (DITEF) of Riga Technical University (RTU).
After the exhibition, Sergejs Umnovs gave a talk in a seminar on master’s thesis development to students of the Riga Business School (RBS) MERIT master’s program. The topics of master’s theses and aspects of choosing a supervisor, challenges and opportunities during the master’s thesis development process, as well as tips and recommendations for students were discussed.
