On May 27th, 2022, Deputy Director of development of the Institute of Electronics and Computer Science (EDI) Dr. Kaspars Ozols participates in an experience exchange event organized by the Ministry of Economics – “Attracting Talent in the Ecosystem of start-ups”, which took place in Riga, Latvia. During the event, Dr. Ozols presented EDI and its services and technologies, as well as shared experiences related to technology / knowledge transfer and commercialization.

In August 2019, the Ministry of Economics implementation of the Interreg Europe project “Smart tools for quick and easy business start-up in Europe” (Start-Easy), which unites partners from seven countries – Spain, Italy, Lithuania, Poland, Belgium and Latvia. The event was part of this project. The project will improve policy making & deliver smart tools that enable a conducive environment for businesses to start easily & quickly, boosting business startup activity & competitiveness in Europe.
