From March 13th to 16th, 2023, researcher Pēteris Račinskis of the Institute of Electronics and Computer Science (EDI) participated in the European Robotics Forum (ERF2024) (https://erf2024.eu/) in Rimini, Italy. The European Robotics Forum is the most influential meeting of the robotics community in Europe covering all aspects and current themes related to the field of robotics. Researchers, engineers, managers, and a growing number of entrepreneurs, businesspeople, and public funding officers from all over Europe come together to discuss technology push and market pull and how innovation in robotics and robotics-related AI can be accelerated. During the event, conference sessions and exhibitions were attened, and networking was conducted with other participants. In addition, P. Račinskis represented the DAoL (https://www.digitallatvia.lv/projects/edih-latvia/) and MOTE (https://fotonika.lv/en) projects at the “TRINITY Innovation Network – steps forward” workshop organized by the TRINITY Innovation Network (https://trinityrobotics.eu/), where he informed network partners on the process of establishing an EDIH in Latvia, as well as the technologies being developed at EDI under the auspices of the state research program MOTE.
