On Friday, 30 April, the annual European Researchers’ Night will take place remotely. The aim of the event is to provide an opportunity to learn more about scientific achievements and the work of scientists by virtually visiting research institutes, universities and other institutions from all over Latvia. This year’s theme is “Science achievements for the future” and the event is organized by the University of Latvia.

The European Researchers’ Night event will take place in Latvia for the 15th time and, thanks to the remote format at www.zinatniekunakts2021.lv, will be accessible to people anywhere in Latvia and the world. Visitors will be able to virtually visit eight Latvian cities and visit the laboratories of around 15 different Latvian universities and research institutes, observe and participate in experiments, discuss with scientists and take part in other activities prepared by Latvian scientists.
