From June 3 to 5, 2025, Dr. Kaspars Ozols, Deputy Director for Development and Senior Researcher at the Institute of Electronics and Computer Science (EDI), is participating in the Horizon Europe Chips-JU project “Digitalization of Power Electronic Applications within Key Technology Value Chains (PowerizeD)” in Helsinki, Finland.

During the event, project partners discuss the progress of the project, make presentations and participate in thematic working sessions that foster collaboration and knowledge sharing on exploitation strategies between SMEs, large Entities and research institutes.

During the event, the project participants make contacts and take important decisions related to the further implementation of the project. Project results are discussed, potential gaps identified and presentations prepared for the final evaluation. Discussions also focus on the impact of the project on industry standards and the role of standards in ensuring the sustainability of the project results. The event also includes visits to Aalto University laboratories and ABB facilities.
