Modris Greitāns, EDI’s leading researcher and director, and Oskars Teikmanis, engineer of EDI, are participating in the 5G-ROUTES project partners’ meeting in Tallinn from October 19th-20th. The aim of the project is to develop 5G communication solutions for cooperative traffic, logistics and passenger entertainment applications that operate seamlessly even when crossing country borders. EDI’s role in the project, together with other partners, is to develop solutions that demonstrate cooperative self-driving car use-cases, to improve road traffic flow, safety, and passenger comfort. This is the first face-to-face event since the start of the 5G-ROUTES project in September 2020, which makes this a great opportunity for partners to get to know each other better.
