Artis Rušiņš

On 4th and 5th october annual international cyber security conference “CyberChess 2023” took place in Riga, at the hotel “Radisson BLU Latvija” and online on cyberchess.lv. More than 60 speakers from 18 different countries took part in the conference on three stages – strategic and political, technical and DNS, with around 500 on-site listeners and more than 5000 online viewers.

EDI scientific assistant Artis Rušiņš gave a talk on the technical stage titled “An Exploration into Bluetooth RF Fingerprinting and Protocol Fuzzing”, where the audience was introduced to the most current vulnerabilities of wearable devices (smart wristbands, headphones, etc.) researched in the project “Automated wireless security analysis of wearable devices (WearSec)”.
