Institute of Electronics and Computer Science senior researcher Rihards Novickis is participating in a quantum sensors workshop jointly organized by the company AVL (Graz, Austria) and the Applied Quantum Technology (AQuT) Institute (Erlangen, Germany).

The workshop involves researchers from the A-IQ Ready, ARCHIMEDES and Cynergy4MIE research projects, as well as external quantum-sensor experts. The event also serves as a networking opportunity, where participants from across Europe are introduced to the principles of quantum-sensor operation, current research topics, and jointly explore solutions for the further industrialization of the technology.

Rihards Novickis is giving a presentation titled “Cynergy4MIE: Quantum Sensing Overview,” in which he will inform participants about the latest developments in the creation of a universal quantum-sensor architecture and also took part in a panel discussion dedicated to the challenges of quantum-sensor industrialization.
