On 20 July, the EDI Scientific Council met and were held elections for academic positions.

We are pleased that 10 colleagues were elected this time, three of whom were re-elected because their previous term had expired, and four were elected for the first time. Other colleagues have changed their academic roles.

Results of the EDI Scientific Council meeting:

  • Aleksejs Tatarinovs has been elected as a Senior Researcher in Signal Processing;
  • Amr Elkenawy has been elected as a Researcher in Computer Science;
  • Andris Lapiņš has been elected as an Assistant in Computer Science;
  • Eduards Lobanovs has been elected as an Assistant in Electronics;
  • Ingrīda Lavrinoviča has been elected as a Researcher in Computer Science;
  • Jānis Judvaitis has been elected as a Researcher in Computer Science;
  • Linda Gulbe has been elected as a Researcher in Signal Processing;
  • Oskars Teikmanis has been elected as a Researcher in Computer Science;
  • Pēteris Račinskis has been elected as a Researcher in Computer Science;
  • Rihards Balašs has been elected as a Researcher in Computer Science.
