Abstract:

The wireless sensor network (WSN) testbed has been developed by the Institute the Institute of Electronics and Computer Science (EDI) (Riga, Latvia). The EDI WSN testbed provides a rich suit of data from sensorslocated inside and outside the institute building. Monitoring of the physical environment state and controlling its parameters are important for operation of collaborative work environments. In this work, the testbed is used for experimental study of such monitoring problems. We propose a software architecture design solution for integration and application of the EDI WSN testbed in studying collaborative work environments based on the smart spaces paradigm.
