European Regional Development Fund’s (ERAF) activity “Support for Improvement of Technology Transfer System” of the Specific Support Objective 1.2.1.  “To increase investments of private sector in  R&D” of the Operational Programme ”Growth and Employment”  project  “Artifical intelligence for more precise diagnostics”  (“AI4DIAG”)

Agreement with Investment and Development Agency of Latvia (LIAA) No KC-L-2017/14 and No KC-PI-2020/59.

Aim of the project – to commercialize the artificial intelligence based technology for diagnosing pediatric bone fractures.

In this project, EDI will develop a computer program that will detect abnormalities in the pediatric bone structure through a convolutional neural network and alert the physician whether or not there is a fracture. Furthermore, in the event of a fracture, the program will identify a region to look out for, as well as classify it by classification codes for most common diagnoses.
