Multi-model development technology for .NET application projects

Proposer: SIA “SWH SETS”

Cooperation partner: Institute of Electronics and Computer Science (EDI)

Project number: 2013/0031/2DP/2.1.1.1.0/13/APIA/VIAA/010

Scientific manager: Dr.sc.comp. Ilze Dzelme-Bērziņa

Scientific manager of the cooperation partner: Dr.sc.comp. Ints Mednieks

Project goal is to elaborate a technology providing means to increase the adaptability and productivity of software development.

Project is performed in collaboration between SIA „SWH SETS” and Institute of Electronics and Computer Science in the field of computer science. Its planned activities include:

  • development of the modelling framework;
  • development of tools for software generation from models;
  • implementation of the sample project using the developed technology.

Institute of Electronics and Computer Science is involved for the implementation of the sample project in the specific field of remote sensing data (spectral imaging, LiDAR, SAR) processing. EDI will investigate different types of remote sensing data, their formats and preprocessing methods and will define corresponding tasks for the sample project. EDI will also participate in development of requirement specifications and verification of the implemented software. EDI will publish related research results in scientific journals.

Project duration is 18 months from January 1, 2014 to June 30, 2015.

Funding amount: 480313 EUR, incl. 304359 EUR from ERDF.
