We apply our WSN research to Industry 4.0, results include low-latency real-time wireless sensors with complementary feedback information for robotic and mechatronic systems (project H2020 I-MECH). Our image processing solution is used in industry for control of silicon crystal growing process (contract research project SiKA). Our research in AI-based perception systems for production includes computer vision with regular, stereo-vision, and depth-sensing cameras for object localization, detection, and recognition. AI methods and robotics are used to automate pick-up robotic arm in changing task conditions (projects ESIF DIPA, H2020 TRINITY).
