Juris Breidaks strādā EDI kopš 2020 gada, veicot pētījumus attēlu apstrādes algoritmu pilnveides jomā.
Viņa pētnieciskā darba intereses ir attēlu apstrāde, statistiskā modelēšana un novērtēšana,
varbūtības blīvuma funkciju analīzes metožu izstrāde. Viņš ir biedrs Latvijas Statistiķu asociācijā (LSA), Latvijas Matemātiķu biedrībā (LMB),
Viņš sadarbojas ar nozares ekspertiem, lai izstrādātu algoritmus, kuri efektīvi risina problēmas, izmantojot Python, Matlab, R u.c. programmēšanas valodas.
