The article is devoted to a solution of problems of optimization of power consumption in embedded systems. First, problems of power consumption in physical CMOS are investigated, and different real-time constraints and load charasteristics are discussed. Next, different methods of power consemption are considered, e.g., DMP, DVS/DFS, AVS and ABB. Problems involving the organization of feedback and determining adaptability for different embedded systems are analyzed.
